Job Summary

The Executive Search Partner is an integral member of our talent acquisition team combining research, sourcing, strategic recruitment consulting, and a high-degree of influence and relational skills for delivering top executive and senior-level talent across the organization. In partnership with executive stakeholders and Senior HR leaders, the executive search partner will cultivate relationships with high potential team members and prospects, constructing target lists of top executives and senior leaders, and ensure alignment of key capabilities to meet the talent needs of the organization. The role will be instrumental in building bench strength and successors for key roles and strive to meet diversity objectives and needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with key stakeholders, identify critical needs for candidate profiles and deploy innovative and effective research and sourcing techniques to identify top talent.
  • Project manage the day-to-day executive search programs through the development and execution of full life cycle recruitment plans; ensuring the candidate, client, team, and recruiter experiences are met with exceptional quality and service levels.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to our executive/senior business leaders and HR partners for thoroughly understanding leadership talent needs to successfully deliver against the organization’s business and long term strategies, vision, and annual goals.
  • Develop, manage, and leverage a broad professional network, deep understanding of the function, and stay current on market trends, innovative sourcing practices, and talent insights for generating rapid, effective results aligned to business priorities.
  • Implement key workforce diversity initiatives which include, but are not limited to professional associations, business affiliations, community outreach programs and events, industry networking, and select organizational partnerships.
  • Drive facilitation of continuous improvement via measurement tools, and recruitment analytics
  • May work directly with outside executive search firms or other placement agencies to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool.
  • Work with Talent Management and Senior HR leaders in building pipelines and successors for key roles.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of education and experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 7+ years recruiting experience, preferably in an enterprise corporate recruiting and sourcing environment, with emphasis on hard to fill and leadership disciplines; including 5+ years executive search experience or other related experience with executive/senior-level recruiting

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Proven success creating comprehensive recruitment and sourcing plans with the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of clients within the organization
  • Deep functional skills and market expertise with a high-degree of business acumen in the financial services industry
  • Ability to advise business and executive stakeholders through data, advanced attraction, marketing, sourcing, and networking strategies.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and engage with candidates.
  • Advanced level of proficiency using LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter and other internet mining tools
  • Deep expertise using social media tools for attracting, market positioning, and talent engagement to include but not limited to: LinkedIn, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, and diversity-oriented sites & blogs
  • Experience leading recruitment hiring processes across multiple functional areas towards ambitious results
  • Proven track record managing executive relationships and ability to collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders across functional and various geographical locations
  • Expertise in negotiation, advising, influencing, and full executive talent search management
  • Experience in working in a consultative role where outstanding communication and presentation skills are required with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and aggressive deadlines
  • Experience working with talent management and succession planning
  • A strong sense of business acumen with the ability to understand & interpret complex business needs, compensation and business structures
  • Strategic sourcing capabilities with advanced knowledge and expertise in advanced Boolean and semantic searching, professional networking, and innovative, direct sourcing techniques
  • A natural curiosity, creativity, and executive presence with a drive to succeed
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of products

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience with ATS
  • Experience fully leveraging a CRM
  • Successful executive and/or search firm experience is highly beneficial
  • Prior experience in an executive search firm focused on financial sectors is preferred
